The word 2020 written on highway road in the middle of empty asphalt road at golden sunset and beautiful blue sky. Concept for new year 2020.

1) The best things happen when you least expect it.
You don't need to have anxious waits, you just need to be patient, obedient and focus on your current task.

2) Trust your instincts.
Most decisions do require logical, practical and rational thinking. But your instinct is most likely to tell what suits you the best.

3) Never lose hope.
Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. It enables you to show perseverance and don't forget that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

4) Don't runaway from challenges, embrace them.
Challenges are thrown at you because you are capable of overcoming them. Challenges are different for everyone and they are there to make you stronger.

5) Everything is difficult before it becomes easy.
Don't give up on anything just because it seems to be hard.

6) Don't dwell in the past. You cannot go back to past or change it.
As Buddha says "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."

7) Time does heal.
Any incident which felt like your biggest combat back then, becomes very minimal and unimportant now; where you may feel like you have harder things to deal with.

8) Make goal setting a habit.
Do set short-term and long-term goals and evaluate your progress.

9) Make frequent to-do lists.
Do make to-do lists for every week if not for everyday.

10) Prioritize your tasks.
If you feel like you are balancing a lot of weights, do use the Eisenhower matrix for classifying and choosing which task to do next.

11) Differentiate between your 'needs' and your 'wants'.
Care for your needs and save for your wants.

12) Don't stop learning.
You definitely learn new things everyday and always keep a willingness to learn.

13) You can't please everyone.
Do what you feel is the best for you. You can take other's opinions but stick to what is right for you.

14) Avoid toxic and negative people.
You tend to be the average of the people you spend time with. Choose them wisely.

15) Don't compare yourself with others.
Try to bring out the best version of yourself. The comparison must be between you and your old-self not with other people and don't be envious

16) Set aside some time to stay away from electronic devices.

17) Your health is very important.
Your biggest dreams and achievements can be in vain without proper health.

18) Take frequent breaks.
Don't lead yourself to a burn out. Pause and unwind.

19) Keep a positive outlook.
Try to remain calm, optimistic and positive in spite of the hardships.

20) The smallest change in your lifestyle can make the biggest difference in your life.
