SAMSUNG GALAXY FOLD: DID SAMSUNG TRY TO WIN A RACE THAT HAS NOT YET BEGUN?
After much anticipation, Samsung Galaxy Fold was first
unveiled on February 20, 2019. The product was reviewed and validated by various social media influencers and tech YouTubers and posted across various
Social media platforms during the third week of April 2019.
However, the issues faced by most of these reviews made the
tables turn.
Little did the reviewers know that peeling off the
protective screen film, could lead to display screen damage. The hinge
was also found to be compromised easily. Much to the phone’s
contemporary look, the device has a very evident crease right in the
middle of the display screen.
While minor spots can be neglected, the major drawback was
the
functioning of the screen itself. Priced at $1980, screen
issues are the last things, both Samsung and the consumers would want to discover. Galaxy Fold is now highly debated and a topic of discussion due to this one of a kind
mishap.
Samsung now has retrieved all the devices irrespective of
its working condition from all the reviewers and will be working closely
on strengthening the
display and later release the fully functional device officially.
Amidst all of the neck to neck competition, in a technology intrinsic
world,
Did Samsung begin too soon? Did they make a bold and hurried
move?
Did Samsung try to win a race, that has not yet begun?
Well, that’s for you to decide!
